Welcome to Toastmasters
Sweaty palms, knocking knees, stuttering speech... Don't
panic!
No
one likes speaking in public. But with practice and support you can
deliver speeches, presentations, toasts and run meetings with
confidence.
Cook Strait Toastmasters is a club of like minded
people who, for all kinds of reasons, realise the importance of public
speaking skills.
Established over 20 years ago, Cook
Strait has many long standing members and a great mixture of new
members
contributing to a social, friendly and relaxed environment.
Tea, coffee, biscuits and sometimes a yummy
chocolate cake are available at break.
If you
have been thinking about improving your public speaking, why not pop
along to our next meeting as a guest to see what Toastmasters is all
about ?
Visitors are always
welcome. For more information
on our club see our About Us
web-page or please contact
us.
